We don’t guess about stress, WE TEST!!
This is our way to taking a look "under the hood", into your nervous system, to see how your body is adapting, handling, and managing stress. This neuro-spinal assessment is an extremely important part of our initial intake process as we are able to test, rather than just guess, how your nervous system is doing. Rest-assured, we will be sure to explain every single aspect of these scans to you before we do them. We want you to understand why we do what we do every step of the way.
Heart Rate Variability Scan (HRV)
HRV a measure which indicates the variation in your heartbeats within a specific timeframe, and is quickly becoming the gold standard for measuring cardiovascular health. This technology is a global measure of how stressed the brain and nervous system are. It indicates the amount of autonomic reserve and resiliency the nervous system contains to deal with the abundant amount of stressors in today’s society.
Scans heart rate, temperature and anxiety simultaneously, to calculate Heart Rate Variability (HRV).
Measures balance and activity levels of the Autonomic Nervous System.
Reports and tracks stress levels and adaptability, using 3 or 5-minute scans.
Ear-clip feature allows for easy pediatric assessments.
Shows how stress affects the balance and amount of adaptive reserve in a patient’s nervous system.
Thermal Scan
Simply put, this measures temperature. When there are disturbances to your nervous system along the spine, there are often temperature differences from side to side due to inflammation and changes in blood flow. A thermal scan is non-invasive and reveals the condition of your autonomic nervous system controlling your organs, glands and circulatory system.
Thermographic scanning detects patterns of unbalanced temperature regulation. In less than 30 seconds, a full spine scan provides invaluable information on how spinal stress can trigger deeper health issues.
Measures autonomic spinal nerve control of organs, glands and blood vessels.
Ideal for use in pediatric and family practice.
Rolling or segmental scanning modes show how stress patterns change under care.
Shows the deepening effects of subluxations on a patient’s health.
Surface Electromyography (sEMG)
Surface Electromyography measures the minute amounts of electrical energy in the muscles along your spine. Subluxations disturb the function of the nervous system thus disrupting how the body functions. This will also produce too much or too little electrical activity in your muscles. We use this highly-accurate, non-invasive scan to document your progress. It’s more accurate than how you feel.
